HACKER ASCENSION

Every frame below is the game itself, running on the current version. Nothing staged.

02How it plays

Every contract is a puzzle with a clock on it

Get in, take what you came for, get out. Move fast and risk detection, or play it careful and watch the timer. A thinking player's hacking game, not a button masher.

~/ops/01_infiltrate

Infiltrate, node by node

Each mission is a network. Scan for hidden hosts, crack passwords, decrypt what is locked, and bounce your connection through machines you already breached to buy more time on the hardened ones.

Outrun the trace

Two clocks run on every hack: the green hack ring fills while your cyan tracetime drains. Run out first and you are detected, and the global trace jumps. Let it reach 100% and the job is over.

03The work

80 hand-built missions

A 20-mission story campaign, then six optional expansions with 60 more. Each expansion is its own ten-mission campaign with its own story and its own signature mechanic, and every mission is solvable.

  • Campaign · 20 missions

    The campaign

Five acts, from an anonymous freelancer's first shady contract to the conspiracy at the top. Three tutorials teach the systems as you go.

  • 10 missions

    Blacksite

The other side of the screen: honeypots, multi-key vaults and the toughest targets.

  • 10 missions

    Dead Hand

A cold-war launch system that never stood down. Nuclear countdowns and 3-key authorisation chains.

  • 10 missions

    The Tumbler

Chase frozen crypto through mixers and block confirmation windows before the coins move again.

  • 10 missions

    Wetware

Social engineering. Profile personas, steal identities, unmask a con artist who is three people at once.

  • 10 missions

    The Adversary

An AI that learns your technique: firewalls that harden as you work, mirror sentries that collapse your relays.

  • 10 missions

    Blackstart

Grid warfare. Cascade faults and re-locking switchgear in a race to keep a hospital online.

The expansions open after the campaign. Unlock each one with a one-time in-app purchase on Google Play, or by watching 25 rewarded ads for the expansion you want. A progress bar on its card keeps count.

What you get, straight

  • AdsRewarded videos only, and only when you choose to watch one to unlock an expansion. Nothing interrupts a mission and nothing plays between missions.
  • PurchasesThe expansions are one-time in-app purchases through Google Play. Settings has a Restore purchases button for a new phone.
  • Your dataYour progress is saved on your phone (and in Android's own backup, if you use it), and there is no sign-up. Google's ad software in the app collects device identifiers, approximate location, app interactions and diagnostics. The game also keeps anonymous counts of how expansions are unlocked, through an anonymous Firebase sign-in. Read the privacy policy.
  • OfflineThe campaign, the expansions and Freelance all play with no connection. Buying or watching an ad needs one.
